Afghan refugees got infected by Covid-19 in Qatar

Hundreds of Afghan refugees that have fled to Qatar have been infected by coronavirus in the Qatari facilities. They expected that they will be taken care of but the country let them stay in a facility that is overcrowded and has only one toilet and shower. There is no ventilation that they suffer from severe heat due to hot weather in Qatar. This is expected as Qatar has been doing it to migrant workers in the country. As per a report, nearly 300 Afghan refugees have been infected of coronavirus after they were pushed inside small tent-type facilities. There was also an incident where a pregnant woman died due to infection and no treatment. Reports revealed that despite being aware of the situation, Qatari officials are not bothered regarding the infection rates and have no concern for the Afghan refugees. This is a major violation and abuse to human rights.
