At least Seven people in Iraq are killed after protestants demands their salaries be paid
A total of 6 protesters were killed after Iraqi security forces opened fire to drive off the crowds in various parts of Sulaymaniyah province. A security officer also died of his injuries after engaging with protestors. 12 other people were also wounded.
They have been killed in continuous violent protests since Sunday in northern Iraq, where government workers are demanding their wages to be paid as Coronavirus case rises in the country, they said that they have not received their monthly pay checks since October.
