Femicides in Turkey is continuing to rise, Erdogan is making this situation worse

According to my research femicide is a sex-based hate crime term, broadly defined as “the intentional killing of women or girls because they are female”. Violence against women is only getting worse in Turkey. Although the Turkish government avoids commenting on this matter.

The government’s lack of enthusiasm and apathy has a lot to do in this issue. Increasing femicides and domestic violence in Turkey has caused women’s global mobilization. Women have become more visible in work and social life and more confident in their public appearances. Victims of domestic violence are right to be worried about the future of women’s rights in Turkey.

And it is very clear that Erdogan cannot be trusted to protect women and their rights in his country. All he knows is to support his own interest committing crimes, supporting terrorism violating human rights and ruining other countries. He is also good at pointing fingers or giving the blame to others. That’s why we cannot expect him to do such protecting his own people.
