Iran announced 6,870 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours

Health ministry of Iran reported 6,870 new cases of COVID-19 infection across the country during the past 24 hours, 79 death are also reported.

“A sum of 6,870 new patients infected with COVID-19 have been identified in the country based on confirmed diagnosis criteria during the past 24 hours,” Iranian Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said, and added, “701 patients have been hospitalized during the same time span.”
