Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed that his country has outlived seven consecutive US governments

The Iranian Islamic Republic remains strong and powerful after the revolutionary victory on February 11, 1979, Zarif said in a message posted on Twitter. ‘Seven consecutive US presidents have bet on the myth that Iran can be forced to choose between collapse and submission,’ the head of Iranian diplomacy wrote. They all lost the wager, as 42 years after the Islamic Revolution, ‘we still stand strong,’ he pointed out.
