Turkey continues to train Somali Military for his Secret Plans in Somalia

Monday, 19 October 2020. Turkey has opened a new training course for hundreds of Somali military personnel at the Turkish military base in the Somali capital Mogadishu.

The training, which opened at the Turksom base in Mogadishu, will be given to the 6th Battalion of the Somali National Army and is related to counter-terrorism, according to a tweet from the Turkish embassy in Somalia.

The training follows a Turkish training project for young Somali soldiers, but the exact motive behind it is unknown.

However, the opening ceremony was attended by Somali some members from the Somali federal government, the Turkish embassy in Mogadishu, and members of the military.

Turkey has trained one-third of Somalia’s military forces, said Turkish Ambassador Mehmet Yılmaz in Mogadishu, but no victories yet reached by these forces.
