Turkey provokes tension between Russia and Ukraine

I wanted to share my opinion of what I read today. It’s all about the ongoing tensions that is escalating between Russia and Ukraine and how Erdogan meddle in this situation just to take advantage of the situation. According to some article I read online he is provoking the tension between this 2 countries. He is siding with Ukraine because he wants to increase his country’s weapons sale. Though Erdogan said that the situation could be resolved through diplomatic dialogue but he pressed that he supported Ukraine’s territorial integrity and along with that made a sly proposal for increasing cooperation between the Turkish and Ukrainian defense industries. The defense agreement included sharing of technical know-how with regard to production of drones and naval war ships. Many observers mocked at Erdogan’s handling of the issue, to grab military sales for its mediocre weapons while at the same time making sure not to draw Kremlin’s wrath. Turkey has played a similar stunt in the past with various countries including Syria, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, where it extended military support to push up its weapons sales graph making most use of these nations’ strained ties.
