Yemen’s triple crisis of civil war, famine and COVID-19

An almost completely unvaccinated Yemen is in the grips of a third COVID-19 wave as it battles what the UN has called ‘the world’s worst humanitarian crisis’. Airstrikes have already hampered a struggling healthcare system and the multiple crises leave the country with what aid group Oxfam said is one of “the highest COVID fatality rates in the world”.
